Dr Maria-Nefeli Antonopoulou

Maria-Nefeli is originally from Greece, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering before pursuing a Master’s degree in Materials Science. During her master’s, she carried out her thesis research at ETH Zurich and also completed a research internship at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg (FAU). She subsequently joined the group of Prof. Athina Anastasaki at ETH Zurich as a PhD student. Her doctoral research focused on acid-enhanced free radical polymerizations, developing new strategies to achieve precise control over polymer synthesis under mild conditions. She recently joined Professor Dove’s research group as a postdoctoral researcher, where her current research is centered on sustainable polymer chemistry.
