Adam is from York, and earned his Integrated Masters in Chemistry from the University of Hull.  His postgraduate research will build on his time in R&D at Reckitt Benckiser. Adam’s PhD is supported by the Dr David Lihou Scholarship, and his research will develop a new selective technology to allow the ‘chemical sorting’ of waste plastic, including plastics containing contaminants and impurities, by sequential depolymerisation.
