Thiago Ouriques Machado

Thiago earned his three degrees in Chemical Engineering from Brazil’s Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). His doctorate, entitled “Syntheses of biobased nanocarriers via click chemistry in miniemulsion for drug delivery in agriculture”, also included a secondment to the Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research. Thiago has latterly worked as a postdoctoral fellow at UFSC, teaching Polymeric Nanomaterials Characterization, and aims to become a professor. Born in Florianópolis, Thiago has lived in Australia and Germany.
