Daniele Giannantonio

Daniele is from Reggio Emilia, Italy.  He graduated in 2020 with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Modena, having also completed the Erasmus+ programme at Cardiff University; his thesis studied  the synthesis of potentially antibiotic molecules: inhibitors of LtaS in Gram positive bacteria.  Daniele’s internship experience includes both industrial laboratory analysis, and patient-facing assistance in a pharmacy. His PhD will investigate stereopure amino-acid-based DKPs in polymer synthesis.
